Queen Seon Deok Movie Review : The path ahead of you is arduous, but you must endure it. Endure it. These lines were the backbone of the movie Queen Seon Deok. The long running series in the television proved to be the best from the time it was released and reached different countries. This is a Korean Drama released in 2009 that would compel us to study, listen, fight, cry, and give suggestions to the protagonist. And who is the real foe? It was really the fate of Seon Deok and what was written in the stars. But someone stole various scenes- it was Lady Mishil.
Lady Mishil is the path that led Seon Deok to the throne. Is it not that she killed the rulers that she served in order to become Queen? Is it not that she had married huge political figures just to gain her people? Lady Mishil gathered the most talented people around Shilla under her wings. Her incomparable talent to see through one’s feelings and emotions brought her to ignite Seon Deok’s young heart to know her real identity. And then the arduous path trailed its way to survival. Seon Deok met Kim Yushin and they both turned Shilla upside down.
